Hello from the Walkers!

We bought our first goats from Smoke Ridge in the Fall of 2021 after deciding that it was time to make our land work for us by turning it from a liability to an asset. Being fortunate enough to know Craig & Yvonne Tucker of Smoke Ridge, we could not have asked for better mentors as we jumped in the meat goat industry.

Each year, as a family, we decided to continue to expand our goat herd and work towards producing quality Spanish/Boer meat goats. We aim to select and raise does with maternal instincts that need little to no intervention during and after kidding. Our breeding stock have been successfully raising multiple kids that gain weight and muscle in a manner that gets them ready for market or others' breeding programs.​ In addition to raising healthy kids, our herd also manages the cold Montana winters on the Rocky Mountain Front without difficulty.
